HOW TO ROOT TECNO CAMON C8

As of now all one click apps like kingroot, iRoot, root genius, framaroot etc cannot root Tecno Camon C8. The method below will root your phone 100%

Download SP Flash Tool from here
Download android usb drivers from here
Download and extract Tecno C8 TWRP recovery from here
Download SuperSu.zip from here
Copy SuperSu.zip to your SD Card. (don't put it inside any folder)

Launch SP Flash Tool by clicking flash_tool.exe
Click on Scatter button
Select the Scatter file from the TWRP Recovery folder you extracted

Click Download button.
Turn off your device then connect it to your PC
Wait for SP Flash Tool to detect and flash the recovery. (Takes about 10 seconds for process to complete)
When you see tick in green circle, the process is complete. Move on to the next step

Now boot your phone to TWRP recovery by holding volume up and power button for about 5 secs
Select install.
Navigate and select SuperSu.zip from your SD card
Select Yes to install.
Wait for process to complete. Takes about 5 seconds
Reboot phone

You can always check if your phone is properly rooted with root checker
