DOWNLOAD ITEL IT1408 STOCK ROM / FIRMWARE

Follow the instructions on how to flash the device carefully below
I will not take responsibility on whatever may happen to your device.
Flash at your own risk!

Make sure you are downloading the exact ROM of the device you want to flash because 
 flashing a wrong firmware, can render the device useless 
(can't power on, can't charge and will not be detected by a computer)

How to flash SPD devices with Research Download or UpgradeDownload Tool

Download an install SPD drivers from here
Download the latest version of Research Download or UpgradeDownload from here
Extract and Launch Research Download/UpgradeDownload Tool
Click on load icon
Navigate to the folder containing the firmware
Select the pac file in the firmware folder
Wait for it to load in Research Download/UpgradeDownload tool
Click Play/Start button
Now connect the device to PC while holding volume down key
(Some new devices requires holding volume up key)
Wait for flashing process to complete
When you see Passed! Then note that the flashing or upgrading process is complete
Disconnect and boot up device

You can also use tools like Miracle Box, infinity CMII, Volcano, GPG Dragon etc to flash or upgrade SPD devices

      Note that most new sc7731 chips requires you holding volume up as boot key so PC will detect it properly.

    i cant seem to flash itel phones (being the only spread chipset i've tried) on my p.c.
    even after downgrading to win7 from 8.1. nothing happens during the flashing process. i have spd drivers installed. pls I need assistance

      You can always use Miracle box to flash the phone with this pac file. Choose type chip is SC7730

    please ampara i use the second variant of this pac file and it loaded perfect but the display is lost, it only display long straight colored lines,

    Itel 1408 has different variant i used IT1408-W404-20160317 and it gave me phone colour blue line screen which is the varian 1 Then i downloaded IT1408-W404-20160902 variant 2 and it work perfectly.
    Kudos to romking but i think u should try to specify each files before uploading it.

      The different variants of ROMs are separated with the star lines. You actually used the same variant but different updates. The first ROM you used (20160317) is an old build with respect to the phone you are flashing ie it contains old display drivers. Then you downloaded a new one (20160902) whose drivers match perfectly with your phone.
      On a normals what you actually need to check before downloading is the build id then download ROM that is same or updated to avoid issues.
