How to hard reset Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite S7-931u

Hard reset also known as factory reset or master reset will restore your device to its factory state ie clean passwords, contacts, apps, pictures etc. 
The following procedure below will show you how to hard reset the old Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite running on android 4.0.4 ice cream sandwich.

Note

Battery must be at least 15% before you try this

This process will erase all your files

Do at your own risk!

Turn off the device.

Hold Volume up + Volume down + Power button.

Let go Power button when you see Huawei Boot Logo.

Then when you see the green android man with gear wheels spinning, release volume up key and keep holding volume down key.

After few second, a yellow progress bar will appear below the gear wheel.

You can now let go the volume down button.

Wait for process to complete.

when process is complete, tab will reboot.

You can now set it up as new.
