infinix note 3 X601 android 7.0 nougat update

If you are one of the owners of infinix note 3 X601, the official and latest android 7.0 termed nougat will soon hit your phones via ota soon. infinix says there is an overall optimization and really focused on power saving features. Well if you are not patient enough and want this update right away on your device,you can update using any of the methods below.

Update infinix note 3 X601 to android 7.0 nougat using sdCard

Download the TFcard update from link below

For X601-H536A1 devices

When you download the zip package above, copy to root of sdCard with at least 4GB free space.

Now boot device into recovery mode by holding volume up and power button for about 3secs.

When you are in recovery mode menu, select update from zip.

Select the zip package you copied to sdCard

Now wait for the update process to complete. Usually takes about 10 - 15 mins

When its done, reboot phone.

First boot after this process usually takes longer than normal.

Download the android N sp flash tool package from the link below

Download, MTK VCOM USB drivers from here

Download, latest SP Flash Tool from here

Launch Flashtool inside the extracted folder

Click on scatter loader button

Select the scatter file inside the stock ROM folder of the device you want to flash

Select Firmware Upgrade from drop down menu

Click Download Button

Now turn off and connect your device to PC

Wait for flashing process to complete

Reboot device
